Bea was first able to make a name for herself in stand-up comedy in 2011, after playing a few small roles she appeared on Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, she was frequently being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. After winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she was a frequent guest. In 2016 and 2017 she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional racer. Their family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young days. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to do in a career and she preferred to perform.
